Written for humans. If it matters, it's in the short version first.
The short version
- We never see your customers. Revenue checks, when they launch, read totals only.
- Your project page and feedback are public. Your email isn't.
- Stored in London, encrypted. We don't sell it or run ads on it.
- Ask and we'll export or delete it within 30 days.
1Who's responsible
[Company legal name], [Registered address], decides how your data is used on Prow. That makes us the data controller under Nigeria's Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA) and the UK GDPR.
2What we collect
- Your account: your email address, and the name, city and country you add.
- What you post: projects, links, screenshots, build log updates, feedback, replies, votes, follows and cheers.
- “Try it” taps: which project, the day, where the tap came from, and a random ID kept in your browser so we count each person once a day.
- Technical logs: IP address and browser details, kept by our hosts to keep the service running and secure.
Revenue verification and identity checks aren't live yet. When they launch, we'll read revenue totals, customer counts and refunds from the provider you connect, and the result of an identity check. We'll update this page first.
3What we never collect
Your customers' names, emails or card details. Passwords: we don't use them. Anything that could move money: we only ever ask for read-only access.
4Why we use it
To run your account and show what you choose to post (our agreement with you). To keep Prow safe, count tries and fix problems (our legitimate interests). To email you sign-in links and things you ask for. We don't sell your data and we don't run ads on it.
5What's public
Your project page, your build log, your name, city and country, feedback people leave, and counts like tries and follows. Verified totals will be public if you connect revenue. Your email address is never shown.
7Where it lives
On servers in London, UK, encrypted in transit and at rest. If you're in Nigeria, that means your data is stored outside Nigeria. We only transfer it on the grounds the NDPA allows, and the UK has its own data protection law.
8How long we keep it
Account data and posts: until you delete them or close your account. Then we remove them within 30 days, and from backups as those expire. When sales go live, we'll keep deal records for as long as tax and anti-money-laundering law requires.
9Your browser
We use one cookie to keep you signed in. Your saved list and your “Try it” ID live in your browser's storage. No advertising or tracking cookies.
10Your rights
See, correct, export or delete your data. Object to how we use it, or withdraw consent you gave. Ask us and we'll do it within 30 days.
Not happy with our answer? Complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC), or in the UK to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
11Changes
We'll update this page before Prow starts collecting anything new, and tell you by email if a change affects you. Questions? Get in touch.
